Hoth Luke

Here's a sketch I finished the other day for a Luke fan. It's hard to choose from all the cool outfits Luke has worn in the films. I think this one and the Bespin one might be my favorites.

wolverine/colossus finished

Okay, here's the finished version. I made the adjustments to Colossus's chest area (still looks a little off though) and tweaked Wolverine's face a little to give him that grrrrr look. All in all, I was pretty happy with how this one came out.

Commission week

I'm going to try and put up as many commissioned pieces as I can this week. Here's one of the first ones I did-- at least the initial stage of it.

Again, it's my attempt at doing some Marvel characters. This was my rough for it. You can see some pretty big flaws in it-- Colossus's chest looks too small (his right side) and Wolverine's mouth looks so boring. These are some areas I will have to address as I move on in the piece.

Spidey!

I did this piece for a friend. I ended up having a lot of fun on it and got carried away with it as well. I know he wasn't looking for a finished piece but, well it was Spider-man, and he was my favorite character when I was a kid. So it kept evolving, and when I was done, I had this. Who knew drawing Spidey webs would be so much fun. Mike Atiyeh's going to be coloring it in a little while-- I can't wait to see what he does with it!

Samurai part 2

Here's the finished penciled piece for Samurai. Ron Marz and Luke Ross (the book's creators) have been really nice and it was great to contribute to their book. I believe this piece will be showing up in the Samurai collected edition in a month or two.
